Nursery (with pictures)

Louisa's nursery has finally started to take shape. For the longest time, all we had was the crib, which was jammed into our former office along with an oversized desk, several book cases and an assortment of other random crap.

(yuck....look at all that clutter)

We sold the desk and chair on craigslist (so handy) and moved everything else out. I want to have a garage sale later this summer to get rid of all of the displaced things that are now taking up our entire basement, but we'll cross that road when we get there. If anyone would like to come over and give me cash, I will let you take things from my basement.....pretty much anything you want.

So, without further ado, pictures of the nursery:

1) Super girly curtains

2) Crib and Quilt

3) Mabel Jane modeling Louisa's chenille carpet

4) Aunt Becca's chair - we're in the process of having this reupholstered. Know anyone who reupholsters furniture?

5) This really doesn't have anything to do with the nursery, but it's pretty cute.

Tomorrow we have our all day birthing class marathon. Danny is less than thrilled. I wonder if they'll make us watch the birth video that we all had to watch in middle school...... Why am I all of a sudden hungry for cherry cobbler?

Get the dog off the carpet!! :) I actually like the chair as is. Kind of retro.
